Project 14 Newsletter - February 2021

Updated: Apr 11, 2021

To all of you who have faithfully given to Project 14, we cannot ever thank you enough. It seems we always have special needs and February has been challenging! One of our churches was robbed, families need food, one of our children in Bolivia was bitten by a poisonous snake and has required hospitalization. Schools cannot re-open and we need additional equipment for remote learning. Please pray about these issues. Please consider contributing to these specific situations. See the Giving Tab on the top right of our website pages at www.p14gm.org. Lives are changed because you give! Thank you!!

Nicaraguan Churches

Over the last year, we have seen a tremendous growth in all of our Project 14 sponsored churches with dozens giving there lives to Christ each week. Last month, our 16th church was started. Please keep these pastors and their people in your prayers! Average February Attendance (4 Sundays) was 787 with 107 Salvations.

Global Bible University

We are so pleased to introduce our newest class of 30 students. Thirteen are freshman. God is so faithful to create a desire in the hearts of these young people to change their country for His Kingdom.

Global Bible University Featured Student of the Month – Hazzel Rojas

Hazzel Rojas is a twenty-five-year-old single mother from the small town of El Mairo which is an hour from Managua. Hazzel was invited to go to Pastor Alejandro’s church, Life Abundant Baptist Church, on December 28. During the service Pastor Jose Martinez who is also part of Project 14 was preaching. At the end of the service with tears in her eyes, Hazzel went to the altar to recommit her relationship with the Lord. In the next two months, 6 more members from her family have accepted Christ. She is currently a freshmen student at the college. Hazzel takes 3 buses and a taxi every week just to get to the college. Unfortunately, this past week on the way to school she had her phone stolen. Hazzel is determined to finish her four years in the college and serve the Lord.

Bolivia Children’s Homes – Featured Child of the Month - Tereza

We want to introduce you to Tereza (picture below), one of our precious children living at our girls’ home in Bolivia. Tereza is 15 years old and in the 10th grade. Tereza moved to Hogar De Ninas Cristo Viene at the end of December 2020 and accepted Christ the following week! On February 14, 2021, Tereza was baptized! Last week, she gave her testimony and explained how thankful she is for the Children's Home. Please know that your monetary donations are sustaining these precious children, teaching them the Gospel and creating a loving environment.
