David and Maria Urtecho
My name is Eliezer David Urtecho Bonilla. I was born on July 25th, 1985, in a Christian home. I have two younger sisters. My parents got divorced when I was 10 years old. I received Jesus as my Savior in 1999. I graduated from the University (UENIC) in the 2009 of computer Systems engineering. I got my Bachelor of Theology degree from the Biblical Institute of Baptist International Mission in 2012. I currently study my third year of English at the university. I married in the year 2007, my wife's name is Maria del Rosario Monjarrez Port. We started in the Baptist Church in the year 2008, we were supporting in various ministries of the churches in Diriamba and Jinotepe.
We began our ministry with mission built-in evangelism (Mei) in 2014, before Project 14 global Missions (P14) made the decision to work with Mei, supporting the Victoria Baptist Church (MEI) while the German Shepherd Estuar recovered from a Health problem. After a year and a half the Lord sent us to work for a time of 3 months in the Baptist Church Grace, which was without a pastor for a long time. In November 2015 The Lord puts us in charge of the Baptist Grace Church. Because of the problems in the church and its inability to provide a monthly livelihood, the 2015 and 2016 work for a part-time school and the rest of the time for the church.
Then God began to reaffirm his work and the church began to provide a livelihood of 100 dollars a month, so that the 2017 to date stop working for the school, and dedicate more time to the church. In addition, brother Ken Mckoy invited me to work with P14 in the administrative area of the Southern campus for half a time along with my wife.
In the Church, God has supported the ministry and many of the brothers have returned to the church. New souls have put their faith in Christ as Savior and at this time 10 people were baptized in November 2017. As far as 2018, 8 people have put their faith in Christ and 4 people restored their relationship with the Lord.
The current membership of the Church is 45 people. We have an average attendance service of 40 adults and 20 children.
